I want to know only the importance of the number and not about it being unlucky or unauspicious.

Actually some consider it as an unlucky number but it can also be lucky ,u know stars and all.Listen it also means no 4 which means being genuine and secretive,also it means being not very much worried or tense.

It is an important number as Laxmi Puja are performed on the 13 before Diwali.
Gujaraties call it Dhun Terus.
It means loosely Invitation to Godess of Wealth.
Terus has two meaning in Gujarati.
1. To invite, call out to come.
2. No. 13 or 13 th of the month.

I don't know but my wife's lucky number was 13, and when she went back in hypnosis,at age 13 when she was raped, she talked a Cherokee Indian language,they called North Carolina to an Indian who translated the tape of her talking.Thats enteresting to me.about that number 13. thanks
