I would probably be the one person who would try to put the fire out unless it got out of control. I have so many things that have heartfelt significance to me that I would do what I could while I got as much as possible out and hope that the fire dept. could put it out before everything burns.
Also my Mom died in a horrific hotel fire of smoke inhalation while she slept. :( so fire is also a huge issue for me as well.

Definitely my cats and dogs first, then my purse, it contains everything from my credit cards to my cash and personal photos (wallet size), it's a large size purse, so I can basically put anything in it. I'd grab all my photo albums next. With that said, IF I had enough time, I would grab my computer, my Cd's and as many DVDs as I could throw out and my baseball memorabilia, only because that memorabilia is worth A LOT of money.

Definately all of my photos. I've thought about this question before! You can never replace them. And won't it be nice when you are all old to have pics of when you were young. I love to look at my grandparents photo albums

this may sound wierd but i have a box of keys that ive been collecting since my mother was passed away. in the box also lies a couple worn out pics of my mother. most of those keys have much significance to me. ive always kept my most precious close to my heart on a necklace.

Two things. The top drawer of my file cabinet, and my computer. Both contain important files and documents.
