i dont really enjoy watching people get hacked to death....
why do some people like watching this?
same with gladiators, wreastlers, duels, when people used to cheer on hangings.
i just think its wierd... ive never enjoyed watching people suffer Oo.

Well im one of the werid ones...I like special effects and you cant see that kind of stuff in those movies...It all fake and doesnt bother me seeing the stuff, heck i got to see it in real life as a firefighter, seen some really gross crude and maybe watching those movies help me see past the grossness and be able to help people. Nothing bothers me, well i cant stand someone with something stuck in them, like a fence post, that to me is kinda creepy...Oh and when you pick someone up their foot falls off...Thats just odd....

I don't like to watch any horror movies anymore unless it is completely fantasy. Any movie in which another human is just defiling for the sake of defiling is beyond me. I prefer the mystery beyond the grave, like the Sixth Sense and The Others, but no more serial hack and slash and rape killers. Yawn.

I'm a bit sadistic, but I'm obsessed with horror/thriller movies either way. I love psychological thrillers the best because I love to get inside the mind of killers and psychos. But the more gore the better as well. =]

I hate wathcing people get killed in horric ways (like in the "Saw" movies). I personally think that whoever enjoys watching people get sliced, diced, minced, hacked, slashed, etc. to pieces, that they are just as messed up as the person in the movie who are doing it to those people. Nobody EVER deserves that kind of death. It wrong and horrible. I hate it.

people loved to be scared-when ever someone or something jumps out at them. when i was a wee little lad in the 60's frankenstein,wolfman the creature from the black lagoon, dracula etc. for that time had been scary some what. today they do get to gross,gorey.

People just like surprises. And horror movies are full of jumpy scenes that give people thrills.

Either they are geniunely excited or scared by them or they think they are funny (some of the bad ones are!)
