It's not the number of years in his life... it's the number of years he can take off of your soul with just a look... it's about how young he makes you feel.

If you were 19 and he was 30 years old that would be creepy but at 33 and 44 what is the big deal. Try it out. Who knows, he could be the one. He's a little older, a little more settled in life, work, home. Could be the one. And if it doesn't work out there'll be someone else who is the one.

I am 44, but I would not go out with another woman unless she were older than me, it is up to you on that one, if you are attracted to him then why not? I have a 34 year old woman that wants to go out with me, but for me that is too young, I don't think we have anything much in common. Maybe you and your man friend will be an item, only you and him can know that. Whatever you do, good luck. :)

I don't think so at all. My brothers wife is 11 yrs older than him and they have in my eyes a marriage made in Heaven! I think these older guys are more mature and have slowed down a lot and not into the games - as much. Good luck to you!

No, there is nothing wrong with trying someone new, at first the age difference between me and my BF (8.5 years) scared me because I thought we had nothing in common, but we enjoy those differences, he is the best thing that could ever of happened to me and I am glad I did not let age get in the way!
Have fun, what do you have to lose!

No big deal... 11 years is not too much, specially after 30. If you were 13 and he 24, that would be another story.

I see no problem with that. If the two of you are attracted to each other and have things in common, 11 years difference is really nothing to worry about.

If you think he is nice and someone you could fall in love with then give him a chance. There is no age or price on love. Do whatever you think is best. You can't all of the world on yahoo answers right now make it for you.

Definitely not to much of a age spread that you would not have something in common as far as experiences of events like concerts and such.
Go for it carefully and see what develops. won't have to do anything more than look for someone else if it doesn't work out.
