He, likes to hang out with his friends, and I stay home withthe children while he's at work, but sometimes, I need a break and he doesn't even offer to take the load off. He'll much rather leave with his friends and leave me in the house with the kids.

Have you told him how you feel? He is certainly not going to offer, because you have probably never mentioned....or not mentioned in a rational 'let's discuss this, honey,' kind of way. That is the first step. And if he says taking care of the kids and the house is beyond him, then you seriously need to discuss bringing in some hired help at least one day a week. Also...I am worried that you seem to feel like you need a break from the house and the kids, he is off with his friends....when do the two of you have some together time? Maybe you need to add that to the discussion.

he will do what YOU let him get by with... he wont *offer*, very few do, that is the way they think, some of them, men I mean... so do not give him a choice... pick a day or night, get your g/f lined up for a movie or something, be dressed and ready to go, when he walks in, kiss him on the cheeck, wave good-bye, as your walking out the door, turn and say, * ohh, I'll be home around (?) , me and the girls are going to (?) >>> and get in the car and GO... do this once a month at least... He's leaving you with the house and kids because you're letting him.
You go and get a hobby of your own, or some night work, and give him no choice but to be there for the kids.

That just plain sucks. You either have a serious talk about it or I dont know.......Parenting means both parents. See if you can take a class or set up at least 1-2 nights where you can go do something for yourself, then and ask him to watch HIS kids tonight lol.
