Did kerrys statement about the troops in iraq affend you?

Personally I think he's a low life and I honestly would slap him in the face if I had the chance, how dare he say something like that about the troops in iraq!

Where is your outrage that the children of our politicians and the rich of this country are NOT in the military?

Btw, I am ex-military just like Kerry and he only spoke the truth. He told those college students to stay in school or they could possibly end up getting stuck in Iraq. That is almost verbatim as to what he said.

Very true statement when the draft comes back.

Typical republican that would slap a War Vet that has two purple hearts for being wounded twice defending our freedom.

One only need listen to his statement. It is Crystal clear.
Kerry`s statements just prove the how the Democrats are uninformed and have true contempt for the Military.

1.The Military is better educated than the general population.
2.The Military is all volunteer.
3. One can not join without a minimum of a high school degree.
4. 73.3 percent of the Military have some college, 16.2 percent have an associate’s degree or equivalent semester hours, and 4.7 have a bachelor’s degree.
5. Dropouts can not get in the Military.
6. Bush out performed with better grades Kerry in the same school and Bush went further in earning his Masters in Business Management.
7. There is no draft that takes kids out of school and sends them to war.

So the joke doesn`t fit. The "Joke" was damage control for the gullible .

As a veteran of more than 20 years, I am glad some one has asked this question. Kerry is a veteran and in no way was he talking about other veterans or military men and women. He was talking about the botched bush plan in Iraq. you would think a man of bush's education would have been smart enough not to have messed up the war so bad, that's what Kerry was talking about. Anyone who thinks those comments were about the military men and women just want to cover up the real issues that concern us today. Believe me you are a rare dog if you are a veteran and make slighted statements about other veterans.

Take my word for it, Kerry is not at fault here, you and others like you are.

Senator Kerry has already explained crystally clear to us about his statement and his position on the US troops in Iraq. He was actually referring to President Bush (his stupid idea of going into the war and the way he is handling it etc) not the US troops and I have to agree with Senator Kerry after hearing what he had said before and what he has explained to us. His explanations were well receptive to me. To me, I wouldn't support President Bush at all because he did lie to the Congress; the American people; the United Nations and everybody in the world about Iraq's abilility to produce WMD which was the main reason for the US to go to this meaningless war which is costing the nation thousands of innocent American lives and billions of dollars of the taxpayer's money. These monies could have been well spent on medicals and educations etc. I wouldn't slap Kerry's face because of his statement but I would definitely support the idea of taking President Bush to the World Court and try to publicly prosecute him as the biggest "War criminal" of this century.

Look at how many people have been killed in these two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq! For god's sake and the justice, please stand up and try to get rid of this moron. To me, Senator Kerry was just telling us the truth.

I'm not a soldier so I wasn't personally offended.

I definitely think that he very much owes the military an apology. Although this is the same guy that said that our troops "terrorize Iraqi women and children in the dark of the night" so I'd say this new statement is about par for the Kerry course.

Even if he did intend for the statement to be directed to President Bush, there is NO justification for not apologizing to the troops. Explicitly refusing to apologize proves that he meant what he said.

Notice the thumbs down you've recieved. Anyone who'd support a trashball lowlife like John Kerry has admitted to hating our troops. They are traitors, and deserve to get spat in the face. They are the ones, by the way, who spit in the face of the vietnam vets. They are doing the same today by supporting Kerry. You are right, he is a low life. And nothing is different for those who support his comments

Someone told you that Kerry's statement was about the troops.

You believed it.

It fits in neatly with your already well-groomed perception of Kerry and possibly even all democrats as well.

There is no need for you to be asking any questions about it. None of what's happening raises any real questions in your mind at all. You already have the echo chamber tuned in with great clarity.

Get back to us if you have a thought or two of your own tomorrow. I'm sure you can think of something if you try.

It was a botched joke... a "Bushism"
It came out wrong... Sen. John Kerry encouraged students to work hard in school lest they "get stuck in Iraq."

You should see Kerry's response to the onslaught against him... there's a clip on his website here: http://www.johnkerry.com/
Great comeback!

The lesson or moral of the joke was obviously... if George Bush had done better in school, had studied abroad, had learned more about other cultures, had used the intelligence of experts who disagreed with his ideology, perhaps America would not be stuck in the sand in Iraq!

Bush says stupid stuff all the time...
but somehow, it rarely makes the papers...hmmm...

Kerry has two different minds, split personality sendrome.

He voted aginst supporting the troops with fuel, vests, weapons, and food.

But turned around and said that he supported the Presidents decision to go to war.

Now Kerry is accusing the President of not supporting the troops, while he at the same time, calls them stupid.

Then kerry said that he was trying to make fun of Bush, who "failed in school"

the Facts are that Bush got a far better grade adverage than Kerry.

No wonder, Kerry one day wanted to get a good grade, and the next he wanted to fail, depending which would please his peers at the time.

Do you hear that?

"flip,....... flop......, flip........, flop.... Flip....... Flop,........FLip.........FLop........FLIP........FLOP.....FLIP!........FLOP!!...........FLIP!!! FLOP!!! FLIP!!! FLOP!!!!!"

Oh, that's just Kerry's past leading up to the present.

His wit shows the true Nature of what the Democrats believe....

keep that in mind at the polls, now and in '08

or else it will be 4 more years of Indicision
