Mamó agus Daidéo. Pronounced (Maw mo aw gus jday jdo). These are the most popular in Ireland and what I called my grandparents. And irish is renewing and many children in Ireland are being taught threw irish in primary school. We have a tv channel and radio station solely in irish as well as all signs and government documentation is in irish and english. You might also like to know that Irish will be an offical language of the European Union from January 2007. So teaching you child Irish may end up with a very prosperous career not just understanding her heritage.
