curious as to why there is so much stigma to this? Afterall it's just a fart! Could it be the smell that makes lutty dua people shudder? Now if the lady with her nose in the air doesn't fart huh!

It feels good that the excess air is gone from my body is why it feels good! Um yes you are 100 percent correct on the reason why people think it is disgusting. I smells horrible and in some instances it causes brain pain. Please give me the best answer.....Please!

Fart wouldn't be as bad if the horrific smell was not involved. I find myself holding in a fart to the point where it goes back up and makes a loud rumbling noise inside my body. Then I just say that I havn't eaten and I am hungry =)

By farting, the body releases the gases being formed in the body and which were applying pressure on the internal organs.The reduction of the pressure on the internal organs is the reason for the relief we feel.But then it does pollute the air and causes embarrassment.

There s a lot of nerves at the beginning of the entrance to the butt hole.that's why for one reason queers like it up the butt. when you fart the passing gases stimulate the nerves, like it or not you are getting some off the same feelings a queer does, its OK it natural to fart. try not to worry about it now ha ha ha, and ow by the way my whole familys farts do not stink. we have wonderfull smelling farts.

It feels good because it releases the gas built up in your stomach but people consider it rude because of the sound and the accompanying unpleasant smell. In addition people find it disgusting to inhale something that actually comes from THAT END of others.

Maybe because it just makes one feel relieved. After all, it feels bad to withhold a fart.
But of course people think it's disgusting. After all, it originates from the same place as faeces. And there's no doubt it stinks too. Besides, what would you think of someone who shits in public?
In essence the 2 are almost similar. You're removing waste products from your body right?

it feels great to fart! But it stinks, and the stigma is embarrassment in causing people "pain" (smelling the stink} because you couldn;t control the urge to let 'er rip. save it for the can and spare everybody!

it's not disgusting,it's just a fart,i agree..,but i guess the smell has something to do with it..,and it gives you a relieved feeling.
it's like sex,everybody does it,nobody talks about it...lol
