Sometimes I think we're taught to be TOO humble. We're taught that it's impolite to brag or be too confident in ourselves, when there are definitely times that we should be. Certainly conceit isn't an attractive trait, but pride in one's self and one's abilities is very important.

Humility is one of the most important character traits, in my not so humble opinion. Not self-defacing, not what many people think of as humility - that's groveling. I mean the humility that allows for growth and learning. Being right sized. Without humility, I can't be grateful. I would like to be more humble than I am -- ego rears its ugly head more often than I like.

I suppose that humility is an importantt character trait. Am I a humble individual? Well i guess it dependes on the circumstances. I dont think no one is humble all of the time

Yes, it is important, along with manners, self worth, compassion and an ability to see others side of the story. In humility you learn how to see alot of things, yourself, your family, your friends, everything about you all around. How to be the best you can, without taking from others, learn to share you values and thoughts with others. And finally, how to say I Am Sorry,or I was wrong.

ye, i personally think it is. but i don't humble myself around me mates cos you know how blokes are ye? when i'm with acquaintances, i tend to be humble. i guess it depends on the context...being humble at the right place and at the right time, if there's such a thing.
i would like to think that i am humble. but who knows? people have different interpretations of our actions.

this is a trick question. Id like to think i am humble, and people say i am, but its a constant effort to be, because its so easy to get a fat head.

Yes. We all have to be willing to learn and make changes. Pride is the ultimate poison. We must be willing to learn and grow so God can make us into who He has us planned to be.
