I think it is sad, because that is the end od and ERA and I don't think that the Price is Right will ever be the same without him, but he deserves to retire and to take time out for himself and his family. I loved watching Price is Right and when he had Truth or Consequences.

I have been waiting for this announcement for a long time...I mean, he's OLD. But the Price Is Right will not be the same without him. I know they will replace him, but Bob Barker IS the Price Is Right...things will be weird without him.

I think it's sad, but he cant do it forever. He is going to be 83 afterall, and about time he retired and takes some time to himself.

All I know is The Price is Right will never be the same without him. I cant even imagine who they will get that can replace him.

I think that he should have retired several years ago. On the other hand, its the end of an era.

It's about time. He was good in his prime, but has been holding on way too long. Nice to give someone else a chance to host, if they will be continuing with the show.

Well since he died 10 years ago, it's way overdue to retire. Maybe he''ll just get spayed or neutered

great idea - he's getting way too old to keep doing the show. he gets impatient with the contestants - anyone noticed that? some days he's like "GIMMIE YOUR BID!"
