hip hop and RnB song always become no 1 in the billboard countdown,instead of country, rock, pop ect.
is it because hip hop and rnb is the biggest music genre in the us?

Hip hop and R&B is the pop music of our generation. The reason it is always on top of the charts is because the charts are based on record sales. so obviously more people are buying it.
I don't like it, so i do my bit to bring my favourite music genres such as country, folk, rock and blues, back into popular music by buying these types of records.

Why does everyone hate Rap and hip-hop. Its not all bad and If they make it to those spots up there then they probably deserve it. Everyone just has to be more open to different music. I used to hate rap too. And before you call me a dumb*** I also listen to R&B and rock.

I heard from some unremembered source that African Americans spend the most on entertainment. I bet that's why. They buy the albums and go to the shows, putting the song at the top.

More people listen to those genres!It really sucks cause some Rock/Pop/Country/ect. songs don't even stand a chance against theese rappers!!!

obviously hip hop and r&b is the most popular type of music in the US right now what with everyone trynna act black these days.. lol.. j/k, but hiphop and r&b are really good music types and are deserving of being on the top of our billboard charts. and if they weren't good songs, how'd they get up there, right? lol. well, those are my fave types of music so i'm down wit it....
