It could be because of too much stress, heredity, chemically treated hair, pollution. I suggest that you buy a baby shampoo transfer the half to a seperate bottle then add alovera gel or extract from natural alovera plant in the baby shampoo. Mix it and use it as a daily shampoo. Go to your drugstore ask for REGROE see the procedure and use it. Don't worry it can help you grow back your hair.

As others have mentioned, thinning hair/balding can be caused by a variety of things: heredity, vitamin deficiency, stress, etc. The only treatment that I know of to be available is Rogain (Minoxidil). It takes a great deal of time and patience to use though. According to the package, it normally takes 6 to 8 months of daily use to see any hair growth. I personally tried it and gave up when I saw no results.

Get no more perms! Use gentle shampoo and always use a conditioner (for fine hair). Never use a comb or harsh brush. Stay away from hair care products with alcohol as the main ingredient. Brush gently. You can TRY some of the medication from your Doctor, but I have little faith. Good luck! It's really inherited, I think.

It depends on what's causing the balding. It could be many different things. Genetics, medication, stress, post anesthesia (if you've had surgery etc.), and age. You need to find out the cause before you can get treated.

I'm not sure if Minoxidil 5% is ok for women. They may warn you to stay away from it. But as a man, that is what I use. It works OK, it's not miracle cure, but it has been proven to work.

It can be due to excess estrogen.
Natural progesterone has been shown to stimulate hair growth in hormonal imbalance situations.
