Yes I have several times. I will talk my way out of it if I can especially if it is something that was truly by accident.
If they are rude to me when they first approach my car, I tend to be mouthy which does not help the situation. I tell them to please spare me the lecture and just write the ticket out as I am obviously in a hurry.
I am speed.
I get my license yanked about every other year due to excessive speeding tickets. I pay them but you can only have so many points against your license before they yank it.
I just don't care......I am still going to drive.
My sisters husband is a cop and he gives me crap about it all the time!

Once in my 20's. It was late in the night, I was speeding home but I told them I was falling asleep so I need to rush home. They didn't buy the story but they play along for some reason & left me off with a warning only. Puzzling till today how I got away that time.

yep on highway 38 in oregon on a right hand curve a state cop was coming around the curve i was doing 61 i had just looked at my speed he went past me and did a u-e in the middle of the road say him in my rearview mirrow so i pulled off the road he came up behind me got out and said what is your hurry . and i said i was doing 61 is to fast and he said no you were doing 70 and i said no i was doing 61 he kept on saying 70 but i wouldn't budge from my story so he said well just slow down and have a nice day

One time, I was pulled over for speeding. The police officer walked up and I smiled up at him sweetly. My t-shirt said, "Shut up and lick me." And he gave me a warning and quietly walked away. So, maybe I have talked myself out of a ticket.

I'VE NEVER HAD A TICKET, BUT IF I DID I WOULD DEFINITELY TRY TO TRALK MYSELF OUT OF IT.
