Why are they still on the roster?

Why are Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock both still listed on RAW's roster on wwe.com? Neither are under contract with the WWE. What gives?

Even though niether of them wrestle anymore, they're still involved with projects that the WWE does...Still though...you are right...not active, no roster

Officially they are both retired.

it is a publicity stunt to make you think you may bet to see them
