80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

Why must life have meaning? Meaning is a purely human value, and does not exist independently in nature. Asking what is the meaning of life assumes that there _is_ some meaning, but there is nothing at all to indicate that that is anything more than wishful thinking.
As meaning is a human value though, there is a nice upside to that. It means that you, as a member of the human race, get to find or create your own meaning.
So while the question "What is the meaning of life" has no answer, there is an answer to the question "What is the meaning of YOUR life?" And the answer to that is, whatever you want it to be!

The meaning of life is the feelings u get of all kinds of emotions u can be happy,sad,u can feel pain,joy and u can simply enjoy all aspects of life. Where as a lifeless thing cant feel anything it just lies or can be put anywhere only by a living being or other powerful source so we can say that life is powerful life has a clear meaning only we have to clearly understand it. Life is full of joy and sorrows and the things without life just cant feel anything coz they dont have life in them. So i hope this answers to u r question well.

This is the easiest question to answer - since any answer could be right because the right answer is unknown.
Life is meant to be lived fully. The first task therefore is to find a suitable partner. Living all alone is not what can be living fully.
Thereafter, we just need to flow on - understand each other, help each other, go to bed together, procreate children, take their responsibility, try to raise them up as good human beings who in turn would live the precious life fully.
Meanwhile maintain equanimity in all joys and sorrows, boons and curse, success and failure....so on and so forth!!
That is, do not worry, just do be happy!!

There is no meaning to life. Just try to enjoy life by finding something you enjoy doing. Make a lot of friends, and try to laugh and learn something new each day

The meaning of life is different for everybody. Everybody has a specific purpose for them in life, and it is throughout life that we search for our purpose, like helping others, teaching others, learning as much as we can, etc. In searching for our purpose, we must search within ourselves and discover ourselves. Once we have truly fulfilled our purpose, our time on this earth will be done.

For me? Make the most of it while I have it. I try to enjoy the things I find beautiful. Like a childs laugh, my Labrador catching the frizbe, the fact I get to wake up everyday, old Volkswagons,
not worrying about stupid petty stuff that I used to put importance on, apple pie, and Classic Ford Pick-up trucks! Just little things like that. Oh yeah, and the guy that put me here "to" enjoy those things....can't forget "him."
