There are male and female canabis sativa plants. The flowers are each distinctive. The only way to identify whether the plant is male or female is by observing inflorescense. The flowers will be distributed over the entire plant.

Plants tend to flower where the light gets to them. If you are growing the plant indoors, you are probably attempting it with lights only about the plant. The light needs to be also on the lower parts of the plant. And decrease the amout of nitrogen in your fertilizer. Nitrogen can cause the plant to drop flowers. Grow Power plus is a good organic fertilizer with an NPK of 5-3-1, and it should allow you to grow the plant with blooms while allowing you to feed it.
