In the time of Medea, it is said they were very Dramatic and of course Greek Tragedy in itself is based on the tragedies and barbarian ways of that time, and yet the masks displayed in our Theatres are from Greece, Tragedy and Comedy. At that time being the story is very familiar I would not have doubted the worst and the worst did happen in that story. But optimistically thinking maybe if someone like the husband who if he cared about his children first and would have chaste himself the murder of his children would not have been.
