First off I would like the A's to re-sign Frank Thomas because he did good in the Regular Season and the First Round of the Playoffs.

Then the A's should maybe go after a pitcher like Ted Lilly because he did good when he was with the A's, Jason Marquis, or maybe Jeff Weaver so that they can replace Barry Zito because he is not going to re-sign with the team.

If the A's need Bullpen Help they should maybe go after JC Romero or Jamie Walker because the A's only have have 4 Left Handed Pitchers in Ron Flores, Brad Halsey, Joe Kennedy and Dan Meyer who they got in the Tim Hudson deal.

These are some Infielders/Outfielders that the A's Should consider going after:

Jose Guillen because he did good when he was with the A's in 2003 he hit at least 31 Home Runs that year 23 with the Reds and 8 with the A's, Carlos Lee because he is a good hitter and the past 4 years he has hit 30 Home Runs and 99 to 100 RBIS, Scott Spiezio because he is clutch in the playoffs, Alfonso Soriano because he can play every position and he steals bases too he is the total package.

Seattle Mariners-
1) Daisuke Matsuzaka, Japan pitcher, said to be best Free Agent pitcher, will be auctioned off...It's a long shot if the Yankees, Mets, or Red Sox are interested but if there not I can see the Mariners bringing him to Seatle.

2) Kei Igawa, Japan pitcher, want's to play on the West Coast which mean either Dodger's or Mariners, and I guess he's good friends with both Ichiro and Jojhima

3) Jason Schmidt or Barry Zito, first Schmidt is from the Northwest and has expressed he would love to play in Seattle, he's on the backside of his career but could help the Mariners signifcantly, Barry Zito, would be a perfect fit making our #1 starter an ex-Athletic and our #2 starter (Jarrod Washburn) an ex-angel... If we sign either one of the Japanese pitcher's I see us giving up on these two...

4) Adam Eaton, from Seattle area, hasn't yet reached his prime, would make a great #4 or #5 starter, and would give us another ex-ALWEST pitcher...Eaton being from the Rangers.

4) Lots of talk has been that once Jim Edmonds goes on the block, the Mariners are going to attack him, WHY? I have no idea, Ichiro will be fine in center, Ibanez has had the best years of his career the last few with Seattle, and a young guy we have Chris Snelling finally spent all year in the majors without being injured and is a phenom, plus we have last years CF Jeremy Reed as backup...

5) This is a trade not a signing, we need to throw considerations of trading Sexson out there, Seattle loves him and doesn't want him to go, but we need to see what's out there, and get it in his head he needs to produce now or he won't be here next year.

6) OKAY, big limb, I'm really hurting myself here...but, I guess I would like to see BARRY BONDS in a Mariners uni... here's why, the Mariners have two washed up players for DH Eduardo Perez and Ben Broussard, there paying them $4.5 mill combined, so why not get rid of them for a couple buckets of baseballs, and sign Bonds... Bonds would do great because we don't need him in the outfield, he would be the most popular guy, none of his ex teamates are on the Mariners, the Mariners lead all of major league baseball and minor leagues in steroid suspensions...and he wouldnt have to worry about doing bad cause everyone does horrible once they come to Seattle, but if he does good somehow he'll be a God...and of course if he does average we'll trade him at the deadline and he'll go to a team that will be in the playoffs...WHY NOT!?!?!

I'd like for the Cubs to take these few people home this offseason:
Barry Zito- Provides experience and ability, and is a lefty.
Daisuke Matsuzaka- Give the Japanese phenom a shot. Hes a righty, throws in the low 90s, and his pitches all have great movement. He can throw the fastball with some motion, and then has a wicked curve like Zito.
Aramis Ramirez- I've seen a couple other people saying they'd like him. Go figure, hes the best option at 3rd that will be available. His glove gets better every year, and last year was a career year at the plate. But don't expect anyone but the Cubs to come away with him; he's already stated a desire to stay there.
Juan Pierre- He more than earned a second shot in Chicago, but if he goes we'll survive with in house options in center.

Oh, and everyone else, go ahead and have Kerry Wood, that schmuck!

First off, when thinking about who you want your team to sign in the off-season, you should throw away all of the names that don't have good defense.

Pitching and good defense wins titles and that's what the purpose is. All the casual fans want power hitters. A power hitter with no defense isn't as good as people think. Sure, it gets the ESPN reporters excited, but they're just trying to sell a story.

I think the best 2 free agents are Jason Schmidt and Daisuke Matsuzaka. That's who I want the Twins to get.

But hey, the Yankees will BUY all the best free agents anyways so I'd say, sit back, wait for who your team signs and support them as much as possible.

The Giants signing Sabathia is amazingly not likely because they have wasted a lot money on Zito. Plus the contest out their to signal him will be large. The Sabathia bidding will come right down to the Yankees, Mets, Dodgers & pink Sox. i imagine you are able to likely X out Boston because they have were given a loaded rotation with a lot of money placed there already. i imagine the authentic wild card in there might want to be Toronto. With Burnett coming off the books, he'd be quite well worth the funding. If George is appearing the way he does, the Yankees are particular to land absolutely one of Sabathia & Manny. My recommend is Manny. He'd love beating the pink Sox. The Yankees were given money shedding with Abreu a FA. Giambi's a FA too. they'll be able to apply Damon in LF. i'm particular they'll pursue Texeira too, yet I see him ending up with the Angels back. i don't think of Ben Sheets is worth of being on that list. i imagine that A.J. Burnett is in all likelihood a more effective perfect pitcher. a renowned human being you probably did not contain became ok-Rod too. i imagine he will finally end up a Met because the Angels do not want him decrease back and maximum huge market golf equipment were given a nearer. they might confirm to opt for Fuentes particularly to save income different spots. If the Mets some how get C.C. Sabathia, i imagine they'll be pushed over the hump. imagine a Johan/C.C. a million-2 punch?

well as for sending granderson to the minor forget that he was huge all year all he needs is expeirence and he wont get that in the minors. and if anyone gets soriano he is gonna tell them im a second basemen not an outfielder.and inge developing into a gold glover at 3rd u got to be kidding me the guy makes more errors than a-rod. so yes they need ramirez at 3rd and possibly another vet for the pitching staff like greg maddux someone that they can use like a 6th man. and let ledezma stay in the pen where the do need help. and for my braves id like them to get soriano and zito. the cards should pick up jason schmidt and re-sign jeff weaver and lose jason marqius.

I would love to see the Phillies add a frontile starter like Zito or Schmidt. I wouldn't mind picking up Ramirez from the Cubs to play third, either.

I would like the Tigers to sign Soriano. he is the only free agent that they need. He would give them a true power threat as well as a proven leadoff hitter. he would also allow them to send Granderson down to the minors to gain some patients at the plate thus allowing them to later trade him for a postion needed later ie: when pudge is done in the next few years. they may also need a closer if Zumya doesnt get his control down because Jones was probably a fluke this year but maybe not we will have to wait and see. THey dont need aramis because they have Inge who is developing into a gold glove third basemen.

i would like to see the Braves get some starting pitching help. Like Jeff Weaver or Russ Ortiz(back) or Barry Zito would be awesome. Kerry Wood wouldn't be a bad pick up either. Hampton, Smoltz, Hudson, Zito, and James as the starting pitchers. That is pretty good.
