Good Question. I don't think ANY psychic could tell you this, unless they knew the injuries that will come up, if anybodys family will have a tragedy that will effect one of the starters playing. There are so many things to consider. Afer the season started INDY lost ONE OF THEIR STARTING DL!! There's NO WAY to know, except to say that THEY ARE PLAYING like champs on BOTH sides of the ball, AND on special teams! THAT is a FEAT in ITSELF!!

Things are quite different now than the 1970s, more games and more parity in the league. It is a LOT tougher to go undefeated, especially when your first concentration MUST be getting to the playoffs in a healthy condition.

I think it is completely over-hyped this "undefeated" BS. The goal of every season in the NFL is to win the SB. Period. I'll just bet there have been lots of teams who actually look forward to losing the first one, just to get that noisy monkey off their backs, so they can concentrate on the REAL goal at hand, winning the SB!

I don't think they will go undefeated this season, they are rather "new" as favorite contenders and they will get riper for a defeat as the season goes on. (Don't forget, the '85 Bears were literally on "cruise control" having wrapped up everthing including home field advantage for the playoffs when they were "ambushed" by the Dolphins.)

And for all those who think that THIS YEAR'S Miami Dolphins are going to defeat the Bears: are any of you idiots actually FOLLOWING the NFL season this year? Do you actually put the bong down long enough to check the week's results? The Miami HURRICANES have a better chance of knocking off the Bears..........

I Personally would love to see the bears go undefeated this season. but lets face it, it is a tough road to climb still with 9 games left. However i believe they will go undefeated if the make it threw the month of November. The key game is the third road game at New England.

No, I think they'll lose to both the Giants AND the Patriots, those will far and away be the best two teams the Bears will face to that point. the bears are good, but if ANYONE in league is a product of a soft schedule its the Chicago Bears. If they could survive those two games, they have a chance of going undefeated.

Yes they will... as seen with the Cardinals, they have luck/fate going for them this year. Is is almost like it is their destiny (tho it may not be pretty at times lol). People can say what they want about the week schedlue this year (and it will help for a perfect season) but they have the same outstanding defense that got them into the playoffs last year & this year a better offense to help them seal the deal. It is not that Pats that the Bears need worry about it is the Colts.

Im a huge Bears Fan, but as much as i want to say yes the will go 16 and 0, I have doubt, they'll probably lose 1 or 2 or 3, but for me I just hope they go into superbowl in Miami this year, and Im going there.

They got the 3 game road trip comin up against jets giants and new england, if they can survive that there so reason why they shouldnt unless injuries get to them which is possible, but otherwise if they can come out of that they should

Big a s s Bears fan right here!
Go Bears!

There is a somewhat descent chance, but I'm going to say no. I'm not saying that because I think they are really good. I'm saying that because for the most part they have a really easy schedule. They only have two somewhat tough games left (the Giants and Patriots). If the Giants don't end their streak this week, then the Patriots probably will.

No, they will end up losing 3 or 4 games,,,,even the best teams cant win every game, at least not since the old Miami Dolphins team, and that was a fluke!

Nope the Bears will not go undefeated. They will rest their players at some point when they clinch and they will lose eventually
