i know.. stupid question.. i really dont think i shud be wasting my five points on this question, but i have to know...
i'm in 8th grade, and a lotta people in school carry around these little tiny purses which has like all their important stuff in it, like lip glosses, wallets... etc? and i feel like bringing mine in too except mine is a humongous black hobo bag... and i mean literally humongous! but i love it.. it contains all my books and important stuff...
i just wanted to ask people's honest opinions.

Is your purse essential to make it thru the day? If it isn't, could you put some of the personal things that you need in a cute makeup bag, and toss that in a backpack? Or is it a cool thing to carry around a purse?
If you love it, and want to carry it, go ahead. It sounds like you have your own personal style, and not being a sheep doing what everyone else is doing.
If the other girls at school would look at the trends, you're leading the pack, because the oversize bag is the IN thing. Hey, TARGET is never wrong...!

If there's things in it that you need access to while you're in school, then yes. If you can take a few things out of it and put it in a smaller bag just becuase you don't want to carry such a big bag, then get a smaller purse for that reason. But switching things from purse to purse is a pain, and you will inevidably forget something one way or the other.

Those tiny little purses just kill me, I'm in7th. But if a tote or a hobo bag is really necessary, that's fine. I just hate it when they carry bags just for the sake of looking cool and what not. Maybe opt for a slightly smaller bag if you don't need all that extra space, but otherwise fine!

College girl here! I carry a purse on campus sometimes but only because my I have to carry my books and laptop in my backpack, so it's much easier to carry a purse that give you easy access to your personal belongings eg: wallet, makeup, gum, cellphone, etc...

normally when i see people carrying bage to school that are tiny and they don't normally carry bags i tag them as "on their period" and sure enough they stop bringing it a few days later just constantly bring it if u do and u are only in 8th grade don't worry about it

go for it girl! big purses are the style right now... alot of the girls @ my high school.. like freshmen... don't wear backpacks... if u like ur purse... then wear it.. just be sure not to wear a backpack with it...!
