I took my daughter's baptismal gown to the dry cleaners and the first time I went to pick it up,they hadnt gotten out the stain I'd told them about when I'd dropped it off; I examined it thoroughly and only this one stain was there. When I went back the second time to pick it up, they had gotten that stain out but in addition had spilled little flecks of some sort of clear hard solution on the front AND put a hole in the top!! I was very upset and they said that shouldn't have happened and if I left it again they would see what they could do with repairing the top and the stains. I got a call the other day saying it was ready, that they'd repaired the hole but they feel the hard clear spots on the front of the dress were something in the fabric (which I know it wasn't) and they weren't responsible. I haven't picked it up yet; I'm kinda afraid to see "how" they repaired the hole too... What should I do??? Please, can anyone help me?! BTW, the dress is worth $60 and I live in Missouri.

There is an arbitration panel in most states that handle this kind of problem Dry Cleaners Assoc. Call the Better Business Bureau and see if any other complaints about this company. When all else fails call Judge Judy LOL

Call the better business bureau, and see if you can do anything about it. If the cleaners will not work with you on this, you can bring them to small claims court.
