K = 1/2 *m*v^2, unit is Joules so m is in kg, v is in m/s.

So, in your problem, m = 5.25ozs or 0.149kg and v = 100miles/hr or 0.745 m/s

K = 1/2 *(0.149kg) * (0.745m/s)^2 = 0.0413 kgm^2/s^2 or
= 0.0413 joules
