My 3 year old always follows everything that he does not want to do with " 4 days".
Example....
I tell him to go to the bathroom before we leave the house and he tells me" I've been going four days"!
I tell him to eat his dinner and he says " Ive been eating four days"
It cracks me up every time he says it.
The other day he broke out due to poison sumac
and he was itching. I put medicine on him and told him to leave it alone. He said " Its been itching four days" and held up 4 fingers to show me.
He is talking about the number 4 but he relates it to a long period of time....as he thinks it is the same!

When they tell you they love you, when they kiss and hug you, when they need you, when they are proud of themselves, when they do silly stuff and when they teach us a thing or two. That is when they make me smile................... and laugh!

First thing in the morning, I see the little face of my three-year-old son peek around the corner of the stairwell, and he says, "Good morning, Mommy!" Totally melts my heart.
