Depends on the individual student's situation. Obviously, I'm not going to visit this site as often when I go to university, but Yahoo! Answers is still a learning experience just like studying is. Answering people's questions helps practise communication skills, and by reading the answers of others, we can learn something new that may be helpful in the future. As long as the student can balance school and their time on Yahoo! Answers, I don't see any problem.

Yahoo's more addictive than crack cocaine. Yahoo doesn't care if a child gets an education or not. Yahoo treats adults as children and ignores the abusive brats. Yahoo needs a serious management change. Yahoo has corrupted many a person including myself. I'm far more cynical than I was 5 years ago when I found this place. What was the question again? The answer is yes but Yahoo could care less. They need an adult Yahoo Answers. The age requirement for this is 13. Imagine that? No wonder so many "children" come here!

They should..

It could be hard for them though when they have just spoken with their bf/gf on the phone. Some bfs/gfs know exactly what they are doing to them...
