where could i find a list of what they can and can't posses?

Some ban access to computers, photographic equipment, cameras, e-mail, Internet connections, etc.
If an offender goes to a college library to send e-mail - that is a violation of probation. The overworked PO has to ensure that the offender does not have access to such items - even for benign legitimate purposes.

While on probation, a sex offender in WA. state may not possess pornography of any kind. In addition they are under the same constraints as any other felon (if their conviction was on a felony level).
(Possession of child pornography is illegal to begin with. NO ONE is allowed to possess it legally).
(Possession of illegal drugs is against the law already, so therefore no one may possess them legally. Any convicted individual may certainly possess doctor prescribed medication.)

I would think drugs, guns, child porn or porn, ask a probation
officer for the correct information.
