this land so we would know where we're at and where we're going.they cleared the land so we would be able to farm and feed ourselves. they ran the the foreign goverments out so we could have our own laws and our own goverment. they shed their blood so we would have a home today. it so sad to think that the people in this country thinks it isnt worth saving ( not all the people ). Its sad to know that these other people have no back bone. Listen people its time for you to wake the hell up and see what is slowly but surely taking place. God Bless My USA!!!!!!!! I just wished all of us did. Don't you think we have taken advantage of this privilege of being an american?

You forgot one, our forefathers had morals which is something that seems to be in short supply in America.

Many U.S. citizens posses the same quality of strength in character that begin our nation BUT, don't forget "we" are the "them" you are referring to and this glorious nation was torn from the hands of its rightful citizens in an unwarranted bloodshed by some unscrupulous animals (of course not all people coming to this land were hateful like this).

If we had entered this country with the reverence it deserved/required perhaps its people would have welcomed us and taught us how to find our way without having to "clear cut" the lives of others and their land. They would have taught us where to walk in a way we could get to where we were going, yet maintain the integrity of the environment; if we were more eager to listen and learn, than force-feed our perceived values, our brothers may have shown us the way with an open heart.

I guess the bottom line is, we can achieve nothing with a clinched fist and mind; we must stop the damage on all levels and genuinely step up to the task of seeking answers to make this better.

We must find a way that all people, over this entire world are safe to be, to think, to have an opinion and to be free. None of us has all the answers, that is why we have and need each other; we must not stop or hesitate until everyone is free and the killing stops.

Your Mistaken, you are exactly like your forefathers, You commit genocide, steal land & oil , cheat, lie, enslave and shed plenty of other peoples blood.. Your still trying to kick foreign governments out.. of their own countries... And their is no privilege to being American.. there never was, your forefathers screwed it up from the very beginning..An unequal and racist society is not a Utopia by any stretch of the imagination..

While our forefathers did everything you said they did they were also murderers and the cause for a cultural genocide. dont forget that this wonderful land we live in is only "ours" because we took by force from teh people that were here first. so i ask you with what we are doing in Iraq are we really that different? i mean we are forcing our will on a people that were no threat to us and showing the world that we are the ignorant bullies they think us to be. we have in no way taken advantage of our freedom if anything our government is taking advantage of peoples ignoance and doing what they want. we have not even come close to excerising the rights given to us so i say NO WE HAVE NOT TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BEING AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

We don't live in the country our forefathers lived in. We live in a country where rich people have more rights than poor people, where the government is under the control of big business, and one man's vote means nothing.
