.. I personally feel better, and more comfortable with myself. For me, it's not a cry for attention, or a plea for someone's pity, I feel more *incognito* with my emotions. If I feel crappy inside, why shouldn't I look it? Others do the same when they want to "look their best"; as my concerns are elsewhere. It's of course my way of expressing myself with out, usually, saying it - causing persons to reflect on their closed values, and not usually being open to something new or awkward or just plain un-"normal". Which then leads to the discriminating behavior of which is inevitable for anything and everything - archtypes, snickering, and bad mouthing.

I never could figure out the whole Gothic thing, but it's not my place to judge anyone.

No such thing really. Just a way people dress. They think it makes them cool/unique. More like a cry for attention.
