How do you think Americans feel about George Bush overall? Well, being an American I'll tell you: Every time I see that man on the television I cringe......many of us feel he is a total idiot (which he is) He's the worst speaker (duh?) I've ever heard....and his policies are absolutely ridiculous.......he's made America a laughing stock in more ways than one.......he really frightens me and several members of my family.
I understand you guys in the UK are not very fond of Tony Blair.......is that because u think he is too much like Americans?

First, you need to know that George W. wasn't elected, in spite of the answers I've so far seen to your question. Al Gore got the
majority vote. Unfortunately, the voting system here is terribly "impaired," & from all the news, remains so. As I recall, the hoopla was decided by the SUPREME COURT --or whatever those people who sit on the bench until unable to walk upright & handle cutlery are called. It was a farce, & many people decline to vote at all because their vote may, will, whatever, not be counted, or their choice will be put in the wrong box. I would say much more, but we are also getting "paranoid" (justifiably so) about the invasion of our privacy, plus, this site has a selectivity system & has removed totally inoffensive questions of mine, yet allowed the most foul, racist, incendary quesstions and/or answers to remain. I shall now probably get a flash to "sign in" & all of this will vanish. Spell check doesn't work, so forgive my fast typing. I really felt compelled to answer this question. Wish I felt "safe" to say more. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON.

Have you seen the documentary, The Power of Nightmares? Look it up on YouTube, it's amazing. The only reason he got re-elected is by placing fear at the top of the agenda and making the US terrified of the potential threat of global terror. That's a vote winner with the majority of US citizens post-9/11, rather than the real threat to this planet, the environment damage we are causing, which isn't a vote winner due to it actually hitting the pockets and lifestyles of the average american. Again, check out another great documetary, An Inconvenient Trutth.

Don't worry he's a joke here in the states too. It was all those great Republicans that voted for him is how he came to be, but i think he paid off some people to get there too.

Yeah he's a joke here in Australia too, except to our brown-nosing prime minister John Howard. That snivelling little weed kisses Bush's *** whenever he gets the chance - unfortunately to the best of my knowledge there isn't a limit to how long one can be Prime Minister here. Lucky us.

Thank you! People think I'm lying when I say that other countries, including our allies, are laughing at our choice in President. I've even been to the UK, and they think I'm making it up!

I have no idea. I am a bit ashamed of my country's inability to make intelligent decisions, and I am sorry for all of the fear he has brought to the rest of the world. I didn't vote for him!
