He'll be fine until then, just keep up with your water changes so the quality doesn't get bad. Also, use some of your old gravel in your 5 gallon and get BioSpira or Stability when you move them so you don't get new tank syndrome.

Yes he will be fine. He will grow bigger in the bigger tank.

Once he gets bigger you should have no problem trading him for two or three smaller ones or other fish of you choice. I always had a couple in my tanks growing to use as trade fish.

The bigger they are the more they cost,

People with large tanks want larger ones and will pay for them.

Just do not buy and angel fish or puffers as they will kill the others.

May want to get a pair of red or black big tail mollies as they mate and will give you more fish if you have some green in for the young to hide in and not get eaten.

Neons are also nice. Coliloach are nice too.Zebras never stay still and I never liked them.

Look at the fish mouth.

If it points up it will stay toward the top of the tank.

If it points out toward the front it will stay in the middle of the tank.

If the mouth points down it will spend its time near or on the bottom of the tank.

Get some fish that will occupy all areas.

Also put objects on the bottom for them to rest or hide in.

Yes, the plecostomus will be fine in the five gallon tank until then. Once you move him to the larger tank, he will start getting bigger. Hope this answers your question. Good luck

He will be fine. In the future though he will need a bigger tank than 29 gallons. They grow big and they live a long time!!

yes he will be fine but future references they can reach a size of up to 24 inches and can live for 15 years or so so you will definitely need a bigger tank then the one you are getting

I don't know, just put some fish with it that won't eat it so that it does not get lonely.
