This statement is totally untrue. There may be situations, for example, when women are in prison, and their sexual urges take over and they may turn to another woman for sexual gratification; However, this would only be implemented as a 'stop gap' until women can, once more, get the attention of a man. Women do not 'become' lesbians, you are either a lesbian (or bi) or neither. As I have just said, the possibility is there, that if, as you say, a 'good' man is not around, a woman may turn to desparate measures to ease their sexual tension. This is sometimes referred to as soft sex, and can be the next best thing to a man; or even one step up from masturbation. There are alot of straight women who would rather abstain from sex completely than to turn to having sex with another woman. In my opinion, to say that: when a 'good' man is not around is not quite the issue here; the word good should not be in the equation. Just because a lesbian told a man that a lesbian told him this, does not make the statement true. Like straight women, lesbians are not correct all of the time. The ramifications of being a lesbian is not purely about having sex with another woman. Hope this answer is informative for you. :o)

It made me laugh! Not all women need a man about and that doesn't make them lesbians! Women know this, live it from time to time! You know out of a relationship, having to travel for jobs or going on holidays! So no this statement is untrue and since you asked ... Then what do you make of the following statement ... Behind every successful man, there is a strong woman????

i personally think its a load of crap(nothing personal to you) if it was true 99%of women would be lesbians.if there are no good men women settle for the bad ones or stay single .Heres another saying to consider, "All the good me are already dead" .Not my saying ,it comes from my Grandmother.
