heres some i hear from being an avid camper . . .

if dew is wet upon the grass, rain will never come to pass, when grass is dry at morning light, watch for rain before the night. ...

i find these to be generally true... i mean nothing is going to be 100% accurate but these serve as mere guidelines.

good luck

A sure fire way to tell the weather is by hanging a string outside your window. If the string is dry, fair weather. If wet; it's raining. If stiff; it's freezing out. If it hangs sideways it is windy. if the string is gone; you are having a tornado.

Fogs in August equals snows in December.
Supposedly you count the # of fogs in Aug. and that will tell you how many snows you'll get in Dec.
It works where I am. We rarely have fog in August and we rarely have snow in December.
