How Would You Stop terrorism In The U.S.?

For starters, I would get our troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan. I would put Saddam Hussein back in power in Iraq. I would tell Karzai he can either come back to America or try to hold on to power but we're leaving.

I would use those troops to lock down our borders so tight that no one could come in or out without our authorization; right now, over 5 years after 9/11/2001, our borders are sieves through which pass who knows what dangerous people.

Then, everyone in the country would be processed through a census-like operation and everyone who should not be here would be rounded up and either sent back where they came from if they would take them or put in internment camps until we could find out whether they were dangerous or not.

All cargo coming from anywhere in the world would be individually inspected for hazardous or explosive contents.

We would have full-time combat-alert fighter patrols aloft over the borders 24x7, authorized to atomize any plane, train, ship or automobile deemed to pose a threat to the security of the borders.

Then I would put the entire Bush administration on trial for treason and crimes against humanity.

It is impossible to stop terrorism, so I'm assuming you mean "How would you reduce terrorism in the U.S.?"

1.) The sooner we pull out of Iraq, the more money the we save. Use that money to equip Iraq's army and to help the new Iraqi president with his image. Right now his image is "Bush's Pawn" among Iraqis. Let him have a voice and to 'kick the U.S. out' so that he actually has the respect of his people and therefore the ability to retain power.

2.) Start building a wall between Mexico and the U.S.

3.) Stop pissing muslims off. The more sons/daughters/mothers/fathers killed by uniformed Americans, the more pissed off and angry people we leave behind who have 'nothing to lose' and an axe to grind against the U.S.

4.) Encourage the media to show more stories about the daily lives of (intelligent and articulate) middle easterners just as they do up bits on American heroes. If all we see on T.V. about middle easterners is of the ones who are suicide bombers, then of course the public opinion is going to be negative.

You will never stop terrorrism against US. The country started something and they are not the ones to finish it. If you kill off 650,000 civilians in Iraq , the chances are VERY high that some of the relatives of the killed people are going to take revenge. They might join al qaida or whatever and then come paying you a visit. Even 1 in 1000 chance is too much for you. Remember , you have to succeed all the time to be safe. The terrorrists need to be lucky just once.

there is no way to completely stop terrorism in the U.S. if someone wants to do something bad enough, they can find a way. profiling doesnt work bc you could probably find someone from each and every ethnic background, level of education, neighborhood, hair length, eye color even number of teeth in a persons mouth that commits some sort of terrorist act or illegal activity. we cant even feed and house all the kids in our country needless to say stop terrorism. when the US decides to turn all of their power and resources inward to correct what is wrong here as opposed to fixing the rest of the world, we will slow the hatred for our country by outsiders

The best way to end terrorist is to take out Iran's leadership as well as that of Syria. Then let other countries know that any attack on the US will result in retaliation like the world has never seen. The radicals will have to wait to get at the virgins because there will be so many waiting in line after we nuke a few key places.
