sure, so long as you have a thick skin, because you'll always get people with something ugly to say about something you've said. i am always disappointed when i like someone's comments but can't tell them because they don't have their e-mail open.

Well I do let other Yahoo Answers People e-mail me but I guess I'm too trusting of a person because they tell me never to open anyone's e-mail that you don't know so I'm so afraid that I might get a virus or something from opening e-mail from another Yahoo user. I'm already having problems with my computer and I've only had it 5 months.

Well in my perspective, no because i keep on thinking its an email from somebody else important. But i can see why this option is useful, because it is used to show answers that have been posted while you surf the web for something else..

I'll tell ya, Iv'e had people say that they disagree with me, but I
don't remember anybody being an @ss. Just the other day...I
had a girl tell me I had no idea just how much I affected her in a
positive way. She touched my heart, by what she was saying...
And I felt I had really "made a difference" in someone else's life!

I have received some nice emails and also some that made me laugh, but one person keeps sending me hate mail because he/she doesn't like my answers. Yes, I've reported them to YA, but so far nothing has been done.

Of course people should be able to email me! How else are they to get clarification on my answers, or additional information about my questions? Or maybe they just like my avatar!

Yes I do at times,but I get questions about other members that are on the site. Which gets on my nerves.
What I really dislike is the mean rude people that say nasty things and you get mad. Go to their profile and you can't email them......Gives me a headache.

On one hand I think it would be cool to hear from people because I love talking to them but on the flip side to that there are plenty of people who might give your email address to companies who will try selling you somehting you don't want. Or maybe they will just write nasty things to you because they have too much time on their hands.

I do enjoy getting the friendly note from people, if it is any less, I simply delete and go on...I keep it open to give people the chance to ask me questions about my q and a's if they want...
