Those are the worst kinds of advertising phone calls - I finally broke over and got caller ID, if I do not know or see the number displayed I will not answer the phone. It's the only way I know how to deal with the annoying calls.

Yes. Especially when you get a call from a computerized system which doesn't identify the caller, and puts you on hold while the system waits for a real person to become available to talk to you.

In a way, they're less annoying to me than normal telemarketing, because I just hang up as soon as I realize what's happening.
I waste more time with a person because I don't want to be too rude since I've done that job before and I know just how hard it is.

Just the political ones sneak past the call blocking list, and yes they suck.

I put my number on the national do not call list so i don't have that problem anymore, but yes those were the worst!!

i only have a cell, mainly for that reason. but i'd prefer that over calling a company to get help and get someone who deosnt speak english well...ugh! i hate that. im a very patient person and that makes me soooooo mad. i get very mad at them and usually hang up

i can';t stand them,,, they are as bad as when u call places and you get those computers,, press this,, i scream i want a huuman,, what ever happened to huiman answering the phones or calling youo from compainies

I just hang the phone up no sense in getting mad at a machine that can't even fight back

Yes. We used to be able to refuse politely, but now we talk to a recording. It is maddening.
