I can't speak for other parents but I have been using this war as a way to educate my children about the way people in power can manipulate their public. These poor boys that are sent over there to do the financial bidding of one man are seriously being taken advantage of. It's sad that they must murder because it's their job. Yes, my children know.

Children acquire knowledge from alot of different sources, but it is the parents responsibility and right to educate their children with as much or as little information about the war on terrorism that they see fit. How can we determine how much the children should be told? As far as the media "blinding" the public...I think the media has done more than enough "coverage".

No they don't. and that is because we aren't. That was simple.
My children do however remember all the innocent children murdered on 9-11. And they also remember all the innocent mothers, fathers, sons and daughters that were murdered that day too.
And now they know about all the innocent people that we are protecting and helping over there.
They are very proud of all there family and friends that are fighting for innocent people all over the world.

I think that you are obviously not a parent. I am sick to my stomach that you would suggest such a thing in the name of party politics.
They only get to be children once. They have plenty of time to learn to hate. Let it wait.

They are? I was not aware that they are just lining those kids up and killing them!
Maybe they are killing teenager aged Militants. I do not think that falls in the area of an innocent child, do you?
They shoot at a man with a riffle in his hands, I would expect them to get shot back, better yet, killed!

Buddy thats war. Liberals think war is sitting down and discussing problems on The View. Understand there are always civilian casualties. Also understand there are FAR more civilian casualties attributed to sectarian violence. Also understand that our children do not need to know these things. They cannot vote, why tell them
