So if yahoo splits the site kids vs adults. How are they going to know what the age is of the kids that log onto the adult site?
The only thing I can think of is that a credit card of some sort would have to be used. At least you know that person is at least 18 years old....(or they are using their parents card).
One thing that I find interesting though is that some of the kids come on and ask some pretty lame questions. But keep in mind what us adults may think of as dumb the question that a child could ask on here could be something very important to them. Also keep in mind that they are asking questions and maybe even taking the advice to heart. Maybe it's something they feel that they can't even ask their parents. Either way...I think (personally and remember it's just my opinion) I can always skip the questions that seem to be inane or ridicoulous if I don't want to spend time on them. The ones that seem to be sincere I will want to answer.

I'm sorry i have to disagree. I'm 17 and i guess i can side w/ both adults and kids. This site is not specified as adult or teen or kid so if you have a problem w/ this site then don't get on it. THis site is to be enjoyed by everyone...
I mean why do adults ask questions about the most boring topics?
Why do adults complain all the time in their topics?
And i mean w/ kids questions being so long, why are the adults answers so long? I mean get to the pt.
It's a 2 way street, people. Let's all just get along!

I agree with you on this subject, BUT what good would it really do IF there was a side for adults any way? The kids would still go there any way, even if you had to put in a code to get in, which I might add would get on every body's nerves, and the kids would still get threw it anyway.
The young adults I think would be fine but the younger ones, nope.

I just answered an email to a 12 year old boy who is a little bit heartbroken. I wanted to give him a good sane answer so that the weird answers look even more weird. I think in the best interest of kids, Yahoo needs to scrutinized the answers more fully.

i understand you question completely im 17 yrs old, a wife and a parent of a 1 yr old....i would never let my siblings get on this site at all.... half the sh*t on this site..(im includedin this :(...) is not suitable for kids and is stupid things....yahoo needs to seperate into kids and adults...some teens are mature enough physically and mentally to read adult and post them like an adult.....but others arent...

I am tired of the juvenile questions. Same questions day after day. Yes this is for everyone but sometimes it just gets to me.

Yes, I am sick of the puppy-love multiple posts from the 11-15 year olds. And why are their posts so long? And why do they cut and paste and repost them multiple times? Gawd!

Why not write to Yahoo! about it? It may get done quicker that way.
