Halloween was an invention of the Catholic Church, designed to draw attention away from Reformation Day. On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of Wittenburg church, during an All Saints Day service. Constantine, who founded the Catholic church much earlier, was a pagan, which is where the idea of October 31st as a pagan holiday originated. Constantine started the Catholic Church because he wanted everyone to have one faith. He handpicked the first pope, and designated the first "saints", from a group of men who had corrupted the Bible over the years by changing it.
