Here's some really good suspense films to watch:
Wait Until Dark with Audrey Hepburn (1967). This is a story of a blind woman terrorized by three men who are after drugs. Well acted and suspenseful. Audrey Hepburn was nominated for an academy award for her role in this film.
Rebecca with Joan Fontaine and Laurence Olivier (1940). This is the story of a young woman who marries a widower and learns about the mysterious death of the man's first wife. Who can she trust? Directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
The Pelican Brief with Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington(1993)
This is the story of a young woman caught up in a web of intrigue when she unwittingly writes a paper on her theory about a murder. Soon people are after her too.
Marathon Man with Dustin Hoffman and Laurence Olivier (1976)
You will be on the edge of your seat when you watch this film about a young man who finds himself in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy. You will find yourself wondering if it's safe!
