Hi! I'm new at school and I want to be one of the coolest girls at school.

be as nice as you can possibly be to everyone...... it might not get you to be the coolest girl in school but why would you be that if you have to be mean!

It all depends on what school you are going to. If you are going to high school, then the cool factor depends on the number of students at your school. When a high school has more than 1,000 students, you don't have to worry about being "overall" cool, you can be the cool one in a number of different groups.
If you want the non nerd answer, immediately try out for any sport or cheerleading. Also, be intelligent though know your role. You can't be telling the teacher that the class had homework the other night or suck up to the teacher. This will quickly drop your status. I know girls that seemed like complete sluts and dunce caps, yet received good grades and were very popular.

Step into the freezer in the cafeteria...you should soon be the coolest girl in school.
Honestly, though, you can't force coolness. There are two girls I remember being really cool/popular in my school - one was really bi*chy, acted like she thought she was better than everyone else, partied every weekend, etc. The other was kind to everyone, participated in everything, all around nice girl.
The bi*ch, from what I have heard, had 2 or 3 kids, never married, working 2 jobs to make ends meet and living in a crummy apartment.
The other was doing outreach work, and happily married.
You decide what kind of person you'd like to be.

You can be the coolest girl at school by helping your classmates achieve academic success. Try to be involved in as many activities as you can. Raise money for the school or a charity. Most importantly be kind, generous, compassionate and considerate towards other. You will have everything you want as long as you keep on giving.

If you have to try, you never will be. That comes naturally.
Plus it doesn't matter. At my high school reunion, one of the coolest girls in school is now the most miserable. Honest.

Get a great education - graduate top in the class. Go on to college - graduate top in the class. Go get a great paying job - lead the company. Be independent and smart and you'll have all the right moves to be the most envied WOMAN around. High School is a very SMALL part of your life - shoot for the big stuff.

Don't put out.
Don't do drugs.
Don't pierce or tatto anything.
Don't get drunk all the time.
Don't do any negative caca just to impress someone else.
If you do a bunch of slutty trashy things then people are just going to think you are trashy and slutty. I mean do you ever hear anyone say, "Dude he is such trailer trash. Let's be just like him." Or, "Omigod, she has done it with like every guy (and maybe girl) in a 100 mile radius! How can I be like that?"

Join a school club or try out for a sport team. Try Leadership/School Council or Dance Team/Cheerleading

Be yourself. Don't worry about being the "coolest".
The coolest thing you can do is be yourself and don't worry about what others think.
