Interesting that a Pistons fan would say this, considering that the Pistons lost to the Pacers in the opener of their championship season. The first game means nothing.

The Heat won't repeat. Certainly not this year. The old guys are simply another year older and a few steps slower. And Miami simply doesn't have a deep bench with good backups.

Wade is a great player but the team will have to be rebuilt around him and they can't do that by depending too heavily on their older players.

There is a very good chance the Bulls will take the East this year. If not the Bulls then it will be the Pistons or Cavs. But it certainly won't be the Miami Heat.

The Bulls defeated a very unmotivated Miami squad in the season opener. It doesn't mean much. If anything, it could lull them into a false sense of security. The Heat looked awful at times during the regular season last year (remember the terrible loss they suffered in Big D to the Mavericks?), but then looked like a whole different team in the post season in route to a title. The Heat are a veteran squad, and will pace themselves during the regular season. This is something the young Bulls will need to learn. Maybe Big Ben will be able to impart this to his teammates in the locker room. If not, the Bulls will be burnt out before the playoffs, and will play right into the Heat's hands.

f the heat!

the news of the NBA is certainly going to be the Bulls this season. As a fellow Pistons fan, I have to appologize, it's the ben wallace transition that will shift the power coverage all the way over to chi town this season.

I love Big Ben.

Heat suck. Worst performance in NBA history by defending champs in opening night. Give the ring back to the Spurs

I am soooo glad they lost! I am a huge Laker fan and I feel like shaq handled the whole departure thing very badly! Serves him right to lose!
