Does anyone remember if there was a spooky house in your neighborhood you didn't want to go near at Halloween? There was one in my neighborhood, high on a dark hill, that we kids all thought of as haunted and NEVER went to at ANY time of the year. Even our parents didn't like it.

Yea, me and my friend who grew up down the street were talking about it in class one day in my English class. This same question came up and we started to remember things about the "death house" as we called it. We remember it so vividly because you would cross the street so you wouldn't die (we were young and the whole block did it) It was the house next to the park and all the dead animals would end up there road kill, dead birds, pretty much anything with bones and was dead. no one lived there so eventually it just started to look like an unburied graveyard.
Thats when the weirdest thing happened, our teacher asked us some questions about where this house was. Turned out she had just moved in there 3 months ago. She didn't say much after that and she moved out a couple months later.

Yeah, there was an abandoned house on my block when I was a kid. I was so curious about the house, I even had dreams about it. I went in the backyard once and looked into some of the windows, but I'd never go inside. I was so sad when they finally tore it down.

No, but when I went to the town pay money Haunted House when I was little I bawled Cuz i was So afraid!
