Popularity as a goal is very much like a handful of water--
the harder you grasp at it--the less substance you attain !!

Popularity comes from an individual's valued interplay with the people around them within the culture and social order in which they are living--and--has an awful lot to do with the positive influences they are having within that social set---

That said--it should be considered that a goal oriented life of service to the good of others and an adaptation of principles of honesty and integrity would be in order as a primary and central motivation as opposed to the attainment of "Popularity"
There is--also--a lot to be said of a person being interested in others -- for it is the genuine care and interest that you have in others that cause them to be caring and interested in YOU......

In your 40s....not sure but I can try. You'll want money you don't have to be rich but you don't want to be loving all ghetto either. So be nice make friends that will go to the salon with you and enjoy each others company. Now your 20 or 16 so not exactly going to the mall. Shop with each other. Keep a close group have a little gossip about the people in the neighborhood. Wear trends appropriate for your age.

Popular with who? I guess if you just mean well-liked in general than being a caring, compassionate person who is sensitive and non-judgemental of others will lend a bit of popularity. A little humor is a good thing too. Being open, honest and friendly. Be someone approachable and likeable.

That's a good question! I guess I've never thought of being popular in my 40's. I guess my answer would be to be happy with yourself, with your family, and with your job.

Don't worry about being popular with other's you should only be concerned with how you feel about yourself and your loved ones. I believe that confidence in yourself will "shine through" and you will attract GOOD friends.

be yourself. find your own style. find someone to invest in. being "popular" isn't always the best thing. find a life, maybe a child, that you can help out in. make friends, be a friend. give good advice. love unconditionally.

Money. Or Power. Or Fame. Or a combo of the three.
