After about three months in Yahoo Answers, I finally realized today that:

Arrogance and intelligence are mutually exclusive.

I think this is both true and profound. So what do I do now?

You're close but I don't agree with you. Arrogance and WISDOM are mutually exclusive.

There are plenty of intelligent but unwise people who display their pride of themselves in public with an arrogant strut. That's not dubt, it's not humble, but what matters is that it is unwise.

I don't know, how do you define arrogance? If it is just having fun with absurd sterotypical frameworks, then I will disagree. I like to do such sometimes, but the other times, i either ask intelligently, or answer intelligently

Only ask intelligent questions, only give intelligent answers. Unless you want to be arrogant.

Speaking as an incredibly intelligent arrogant person, I'd say you have to rethink your premise.

Make other arrogant and intelligent observations such as this one, and then share them with us in questions.

Try to distance yourself from the former, and bring yourself toward the latter. What else?
