Yes go and download psp 2.82 from yr computer internet and transfer the setup to yr psp GAME folder and disconnect to update from yr psp.

you need a wireless router or WiFi router. the PSP has built in 802.11b wireless. if you've got dialup, doing this can be almost impossible. if you've got broadband, it's easy.
you take your wireless router and plug it up to your broadband connection..your computers plug into this and run through it. then following the instructions you configure your router for internet access. then you configure the PSP to use the access point. that puts it online.
