You are so thoughtful....not naive.....yes...go back.....this unfortunate situation was brought upon by him....perhaps you have a back round of taking it on the chin and feeling sorry for others...trust me...people MUST own up to their mistakes and the only mistake you could make here is not returning with your head held high..you won!....you were treated substandardly...and it got through to the right people. You are fortunate. I am so glad that you were heard and Really listened to. It doesn't always work out this way.....you are setting an example...for one thing, and a precedent that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated.
Good for you!!!!! ~ YOU just earneed the respect of countles people..and i am so glad you shared it in ths format.
I hope and wish you the best...now get back in there head held high, smile on your face...and trust me..no one will be messing with you now!
Congrats Hon!

YES of course you should go back to work. How dare he belittle you and discriminate you like that. Regardless of how he feels about others that does not give him the right to act the way he did, he has no right what so ever.
He needs to take a good hard long look at himself and I hope he can learn from what has taken place.
Dont you feel guilty about anything because at the end of the day it was the Boss who fired him because of his actions, the Boss knows that they can not have people like that working in their offices as it can be taken to a court of law.
I know you cant help how you feel but he needs to know that is unacceptable behaviour.

As long as he was the only source of the problem, I would go back. Go back at least until you find something you like better. Nobody deserves to be treated badly. If you get along with other people at work, great. Go back and have fun. Don't feel guilty or anything because his behavior was not professional.

Go back. Worst case scenario, it really does suck and you can give your two weeks and leave on good terms with management at least, even if not your coworkers. Or, if it's bad enough, not even; you're no worse off than before.

You should go back to work. You have the right to work, it's not your fault the jerk was immature. It was very professional of ur co-workers to ignore him and not go along. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. Do your thing...

Yes! Please! You've "got to" reinforce the idea that what he did was wrong.
