I'm in my 12th week of my 3rd pregnancy and I think I may already be having Braxton Hick's contractions. I know that this sounds strange, but I don't know what else it could be. They have been pretty often today and I'm starting to get concerned. Anyone hear of this before? what could it mean?

Do they feel like menstrual cramps or actual contractions? The difference is that your abdomen will be hard. Also, is it kind of a constant pain or something that you can time? Take it easy and be careful with over exerting yourself. I had pretty bad cramps around 12 months because the baby was growing so fast.

Good luck.

If you feel like something isn't right, you should call your doctor immediately. It doesn't matter what your friends and family say. If you think something's wrong, you should get it checked out. If the doctor doesn't find anything, great. You'll know everything's fine. But if the doctor does find something, you'll be glad you went in early. You can't be too careful when it comes to pregnancies.

tha seems early. You could be dehydrated, whch can make your uterus irritable, aslo, a urinary tract infection can cause cramping that feels uterin.

Call you doctor, but also try a warm bath, and a big glass of water, also moving around, cause usually that will stop braxton hicks.

That is a bit early, but then again every pregnancy is different. Just call your doctor if you feel it's necessary. Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to stuff like this. Congrats on number 3 :-)
