my daughter and her boyfriend dressed like the housewife (robe, rollers, slippers) and the Publisher's Clearing House man in a suit with balloons! She held the big check made out to her for 1,000,000.00... everyone loved it!

I was the "Potty Fairy". Dressed in pretty blue hair, with shimmery wings, striped blue and pink tights and a sheer, flowing, shiny yet pastel fairy type mini dress. I carried a lovely pink wand that sprinkled magic fairy dust on all the little toddlers that visited. The ones that are learning how to be potty trained.
I got the idea from my 3 year old who is struggling with potty training, I told her all about the Potty Fairy who is so proud of little children when they go in the big potty and she gives treats when they are trying to learn. It was all very cute and magical!
Those little kids eyes were so wide with amazement and belief. They are sure to wear their big boy undies or big girl panties and try even harder tomorrow since they saw the "Potty Fairy" tonight!

The ghost of CBGB's (NYC night club that launched many punk/new wave bands). Played Blondie and the Ramones in the background, wore black leather, white face paint with punk-looking make up. Scared lots of kids coming to the door for candy.

For the dance I chaperoned I was a southern bell with a full hoop skirt and parasol and long blue gloves.
For work I was a kid - I got to wear eeyore pjys and huge eeyore slippers to work - my dream come true!!!! I had freckles on my face and pigtails...
For trick or treating I was a cold cold mom.... in pjys and a parka carrying my coffee :P

I was myself which is pretty scary in itself, considering that I live in a hollow and am surrounded by howling animals and owls.

I took my old T.O. jersey, taped over the "Owens" with "Vader," and put on a cheap Darth Vader mask.
