It most probably would be due to overheating, so is there anyway to solve this problem? It only started like recently and didn't have a problems like this previously!

Do you have a problem without the web cam? If not, I don't think is a heat issue.

If you have problem without the web cam, check on the heat the system is producing.

connect the webcam to the front usb port(s) on the computer.

check your power settings and do a v scan and then see if thee webcam is using more power than it should or is it even compatible
