Definitely without a doubt the 60's bring back fond memories of the best music ever....and fond memories of my childhood.........I was only 6 or 7 when the British Invasion came about.......Beatles, Monkees, The Rolling Stones, Hermans Hermits, Dave Clark Five, Eric Clapton....and several others...Non Brits too from 60's & 70's...Janis Joplin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell (also 60's and 80's)...to name a few...great era.

Seventies and Eighties, had the best and worst.
Try growing up with everything from disco, one hit wonders, big hair bands, Bruce, and songs like Chevy Van, Hotel California, and, I, Wanna Rock And Roll All Night,
what a mixed up generation!, Thank Heaven for an older sis who liked Beatles, Stones, and Deep Purple.

As a child of the sixties i have been through it all ,and liked some music from every decade, but as hard as i try i cant find a better decade ,as a whole, than the sixties, other decades have had good songs and music from time to time, but the sixties and very early seventies (maybe) cant be rivalled in my expert opinion.

1966, without a doubt. Both The Beatles' (Revolver) and The Beach Boys' (Pet Sounds) best albums were released in this year.

I was a teenager in the 80's, so I have a soft spot and nostalgia for that. 1984 and FGTH - superb!
