Sorry man, they aren't worth that much. If you want to make money, you should mine & smith. You can sell the weapons you make for plenty of gold pieces. And the higher level you get, the better stuff you can make!

No one in their right mind would buy a friggin cowhide for 150 gp each. Why would they want to buy it for 150 gp each when they can go up to a level 2 cow, just hit it once and kill it and collect the hide for FREE. Don't bother wasting your time trying to sell a cowhide at an outrageous price. Even a person that's in dire need of cowhides wouldn't buy it at that price.
Now, coal, on the other hand, is at least worth 100 gp each. Needs like level 30 mining, though.

to get to barbarian village: first do u know the place GE is? if so circulate South West from the suitable front alongside a course. then click after the barbarians they might say it not extra academic place. say ok ur there!
